MPC-Internship Supplementary Application 

Milton Psychotherapy Centre is a Yorkville approved practicum site located in Milton, Ontario. Interns must be willing to work with individuals, children 10+, teens, and couples. Interns will be provided with additional training for couples work.

Dyadic Clinical Supervision will be included on a weekly basis and will be provided at no cost to the Intern.  Interns are supervised by a Yorkville approved Supervisor on our team who is an MSW, RSW.  In order to proceed with an Internship, according to Yorkville University requirements, Interns must acquire their Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) status prior to the start of their practicum.  Candidates with previous experience volunteering with children and families, and/or previous work experience in the social service sector are strongly encouraged to apply.

The ideal MPC Internship Candidate is mature, confident, tech savvy, takes initiative, emotionally intuitive, is open to feedback, and is ready to work collaboratively with a fun and casual team of therapists.

Proof of CRPO membership

Mandatory in-person availability for DIRECT client hours. This is NOT a virtual practicum placement.

INDIRECT hours can be conducted remotely from home.

We do not require proof of vaccinations or mask fitting.
