Every person with an intellectual disability who is at least 8 years of age is eligible to participate in Special Olympics. There is no maximum age limitation for participation in Special Olympics.

Note: A unified partner is, in a way, a peer buddy. However, a unified partner actually plays the sport with the Special Olympics athletes- helping and guiding them. Unified partners need to demonstrate skill and knowledge of the sport.

Although the tournament will most likely be during the school day, most practices will be held after school hours-as this is just like any sports league that requires practices to gain skills, grow as an athlete, and develop relationships. Please help us gather information regarding needs.  *
