We Are AAPI Community Conversation: Dr. Michelle Au, Georgia State Senate Candidate, District 48 (D)
For the month of August, We Are AAPI is highlighting AAPI Democratic candidates running for office in battleground states and districts. 2020 is an unprecedented election cycle and we believe the AAPI community can play a crucial role in supporting these trailblazing leaders on their way to making history.

Our second candidate conversation is with Dr. Michelle Au, GA-48 State Senate Democratic Candidate for Georgia's State Senate. If elected, she will make history as the the first Asian American woman to serve as a state senator in Georgia. Join us to discuss her background in medicine, unconventional foray into politics, public health issues in light of COVID-19, and why the AAPI vote is important in 2020 and beyond.

Date and Time:
Wednesday, August 12, 7:30 - 8:30pm ET
