Elementary Literacy Differentiation
This three-hour virtual event will give educators background knowledge on data-driven differentiation instructional practices in reading. Research on Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) supports differentiation to meet the diverse student literacy needs to increase academic achievement. Differentiation is the modification of instruction and the creation of learning opportunities to ensure all students have equal access to grade-level content. Content can be modified by effect, process, and product. This workshop will provide teachers with information on how to differentiate their literacy instruction in these three areas to meet the needs of their student population.
