Yearbook Application For Future 7th Graders Graders
This Google form is the application if you are interested in joining the yearbook class next year. The main project that we complete is the our 108 page yearbook. Students write all the articles, take all the pictures, and design all the pages. If writing, photography, or graphic design & art sound interesting to you, I encourage you to apply for the class.

The application is a two-part process.

The first is to fill out this Google form and submit it by 3:00pm on May 18th.

The second part is to complete a tryout. To access the tryout, enroll in the Yearbook Tryout Class on Google Classroom by 3:00pm on May 18th.   The code for this class is: ic6dbds.

At 3:00pm on May 18th, you will have access to three separate tryouts--one for writing, one for photography, and one for graphic design & art. You can complete all of these tryouts, two of them, or only one. You should do tryouts on the subject that interests you--so choose the ones you'd like to do.

The tryout will be due by 5:00pm on May 20th.

If you need help during the tryout, I'll be available on Zoom between 3:00 & 4:00pm on May 18th, 19th, and 20th to answer any questions you may have. My Zoom room is: https://nmusd.zoom.us/j/8727310325

If you have any questions about this process or will be unavailable during the week of May 18-20, please email me at cbrude@nmusd.us beforehand so we can work something out.

Every yearbook has a theme. Some may be about a current event (such as coming back to school after quarantine). Some may be just an inspirational message, such as last year's theme "Paint Your Path", which was about owning the journey you take in life. Below, list any ideas you may have for a yearbook theme and explain how the theme could relate to school.   *
