2020 Artisan Mercado Gold Membership
I, the undersigned, certify that I have a Texas Sales and Use Permit and agree to enroll as a  member of the 2020 Artisan Mercado and participate in 10 monthly events or 20 bi-weekly events during 2020 or as a non-member and participate in events as indicated below in my selections. I agree to rent a display area as part of the Artisan Mercado held indoors at La Peña Gallery,  227 Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78701, for the date(s) and the total amount specified below, and in consideration thereof, agree to indemnify and hold harmless organizer Athena Silversmith and sponsors Mexic-Arte Museum, the City of Austin and La Peña Inc. from any and all damages, claims or liabilities or judgments arising from the undersigned’s activities during the Artisan Mercado. These are to include, but are not limited to, the attorney’s fees incurred in the defense of an action and any other costs, fees or penalties associated with such defense against the above mentioned entities and unnamed sponsors.

GUIDELINES FOR ALL VENDORS
This is a rain or shine event.
Memberships and non-member events must be paid in advance and member contracted events must be paid by the market day.
Member vendors can cancel their scheduled dates without penalty strictly due to the following emergencies (sickness or injury that prohibits he or her from being able to perform the movements needed to set up and breakdown or sell items.)  In the event of an illness or injury, the vendor must notify organizers upon knowledge of condition and will receive a credit which must be redeemed six months from the cancellation during 2020. Resceduled event dates depend on the availability.
You must be an approved vendor to participate. Selections are made by the organizers and follow Artisan Mercado guidelines.
You must have a Texas Sales and Use Permit on file with the Artisan Mercado organizers and you are responsible for collecting sales tax.
Spaces are assigned to member vendors as they register and then on a first-come, first-serve basis and before the event for all other vendors.
Set-up will be at 9 a.m. or one hour before start time.
You are responsible for your own parking.
No tents are required.  Each vendor will be provide an 6-foot space. You are required to provide your own tables and chairs.
Your table must be open and staffed between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Your display area should be clean and orderly and personnel must be clean and appropriately attired at all times. Bring a tablecloth and decor!
You are responsible for clean-up of your table during and after the event.
Breakdown starts at 4:00 p.m. and must be completed by 4:30 p.m. at the latest.
Restrooms are available on site.
No amplified sound in your booth.
