Wildern School - Cycle Permission Form
Dear Parent/Guardian

In the interest of general road safety and the safety of students moving to and from school, it is important that all cycles used, are properly maintained, fit for use on the public highway and, with appropriate lighting when necessary.  Students must walk with their cycles once they are on the school site.  This is for their own safety and also that of others on the school site.  We recommend that all students wear an appropriate helmet when cycling to school.

Hampshire County Council issue maps showing designated cycle paths which come to Wildern School and these can be accessed either through the county council or, by making reference to the school travel plan. https://www.wildern.org/information/transport/

A covered cycle parking area is available and cycles must be locked to the stands.  We recommend using a trusted (D- Lock) to secure bikes onsite.  Students must not wait in the cycle shed area but must leave immediately after securing their bikes.

We seek your help to maintain these standards and ask you to agree by filling in the form below. Failure to adhere to these basic rules will lead to the withdrawal of cycle permission and use of our cycle sheds.
