Important Note: NCHSAA rules require student athletes to be enrolled in at least three courses in a semester to meet eligibility requirements to participate in a high school sport.

THIS FORM IS ONLY FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE PLANNING ON JUST COMING LATE OR LEAVING EARLY...NOT FOR STUDENTS TAKING NCVPS OR RCC CLASSES.

All students applying for Early Graduation/Early Release/Late Entry must have an approved plan for work or further study. Please note this in the appropriate section below.
Completion of this application and approval constitutes a contract between SWRHS and the student and parents. The following stipulations apply:
           ***Seniors MUST have a 1 credit buffer for early release or late entry approval. For the Fall semester the applying senior must have a minimum of 22 credits, for the Spring semester the applying senior must have a minimum of 26 credits (27 for 2 block of early release).
          ***Final approval of this application depends on scheduling results. Classes will not be overloaded nor other students displaced from classes to accommodate applications for early graduation or early release.
          ***The student is responsible for meeting all deadlines associated with graduation and other senior activities. SWRHS assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY for notifications.
          ***The student will maintain a passing grade in all courses attempted and abide by all attendance and discipline policies or this contract will be void and the student will return to full-time enrollment.
         ***A student may not take Early Release and Late Entry in same semester.

          *** By filling out this form, I understand the expectations set before me for approval of Early Graduation, Early Release, or Late Entry. I realize that these privileges can be withdrawn at anytime
