CDSSG 'Host 'n' Boast' to celebrate and support our Grandparents

CDSSG Secretary Trustee, Anne Lewis, invites Grandparents to connect over a coffee!

Like many of us, Anne has found the constraints of this pandemic year tough. As a devoted grandparent, this has meant not getting to see her five wonderful grandchildren for the usual playdays, holidays and family get-togethers and not being able to socialise with the wider DS community. Realising that many of her fellow grandparents would be experiencing these same frustrations, Anne has decided to take action and, in conjunction with CDSSG, launch the ‘Host ‘n’ Boast virtual coffee morning initiative.

We are inviting all our Grandparent supporters to take part in a regular, informal, coffee morning-style Zoom session. This will be an opportunity to chat about the unique role of being a Grandparent, share stories about the challenges this brings... and to boast about wonderful Grandchildren!
