2024-25 Scholarship Application Tyler A&M Mothers' Club

SCHOLARSHIP GENERAL INFORMATION
Scholarship applications are available on our website www.TylerAggieMoms.com, at the November, December, and January meetings or can be obtained by request from the Scholarship Committee. The scholarship award amount is determined by the Tyler A&M Mothers’ Club Scholarship Committee. The scholarship award will be sent to Texas A&M University and will be deducted from the notice of fees due. The total scholarship amount will be awarded in the next Fall semester. Applications must be postmarked, submitted via Google Form, or hand delivered no later than March 1st .

APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY
Eligible applicants MUST meet the following requirements:

1. The applicant shall be a full-time student, as specified by Texas A&M University, at the time of application and at the time of disbursement of funds. (Students participating in student teaching, internships, and cooperative education programs, and study abroad programs who are enrolled in less than 12 hours during a fall or spring semester may be eligible to be certified as a full-time student with the approval of the Dean of the College or his or her designee. A letter of certification must be included with this application.)


2. The applicant shall be in good standing at the beginning of the next Fall semester and shall have a minimum GPA of 2.70. An unofficial original transcript (all pages), which shows proof of hours and the student’s GPA, may be obtained by going to the student’s “My Record” on the HOWDY.TAMU.EDU website. Students in the Blinn TEAM program must provide a transcript from both Blinn and Texas A&M. The applicant shall be a full-time student and have a minimum composite GPA of 2.70.


3. The applicant will reside in Smith County or one of the following zip codes:

APPLICATION SUBMISSION
  Only fully completed applications postmarked, submitted via Google Form, or hand delivered by the deadline date of March 1st will be considered. A completed application includes the following:


- Completed and signed original application form.


- Original printed copy of student’s unofficial transcript(s) with the student’s name, proof of hours (past and current) and GPA from Texas A&M University and Blinn (if applicable).


- A 250-word essay expressing what your education at Texas A&M University means to you and how you will use it to impact the world.
