Hello all,
On 23-September-2019, we will hold a symposium focusing on Bio-acoustics research in the natural environment (open habitats) in Israel:
The 1st Israeli Bioacoustics Symposium: the soundscape of natural environments and the impacts of anthropogenic noise on wildlife
The meeting will take place at the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research, in Midreshet Ben-Gurion (Sde Boker). The meeting is intended for researchers, students, conservationists and planners who wish to use research tools from this field in the natural environment.
If you are studying acoustic recordings or noise measurements, or if you are planning to use such acoustic measurements to monitor biodiversity, study animal communication, or plan conservation strategies, we will be happy to see you at the symposium!
Registration fee: 50 NIS; student 30 NIS
