The most prevalent question being asked by students, parents and school staff members is "what will school look like in the upcoming school year?" Governor Abbott recently stated students will be able to return to school in the fall, but it may look different than our traditional classrooms. Connally ISD has adopted a school calendar with a start date of Thursday, August 13th. In order to appropriately plan for the start of school, we are seeking input from our parents to assist in planning for the upcoming school term.

Responding to this survey does not commit you to any selection, and it does not guarantee the option you select will be offered in the upcoming school term. All responses to the survey are anonymous.

Which response best describes your feelings in regards to your student returning to school in an in person classroom setting?

I will send my student back to a traditional school setting if additional cleaning/disinfecting standards are in place for the campus, frequent hand washing or sanitizer is administered to students, and social distancing is in place during instruction, lunch and breaks.

I will only send my student back to a traditional school setting if students are seated a minimum of 6 feet apart. In addition, additional cleaning/disinfecting standards must be in place for the campus, frequent hand washing or sanitizer is administered to students, and social distancing is in place during instruction, and lunch will occur in the classroom.

I do not want my student on campus with other children.

I would need additional information prior to making a decision on sending my student back to school.
