2022 South Loop Farmers Market Vendor Application
We'd like to thank you for considering the South Loop Farmers Market (SLFM) this year and for your perseverance and creativity as we continue to nourish and educate our community during these trying times. We survived (well, almost) a global pandemic and we're so excited to grow with you this year!

Since 2015, SLFM has been a catalyst in pushing forward the local food movement in Chicago's diverse and growing South Loop community. We are looking forward to our 8th annual market season and would love to have you join our growing family of vendors!

The SLFM team is dedicated to and passionate about helping small farmers and food businesses thrive and we're excited to announce that SLFM will now be managing our Thursday evening market at a different location in Chicago's South Loop this year!

You DO NOT have to apply to both SLFM markets, but vendors that take part in both outdoor markets will receive a discounted rate (one market free).

South Loop Farmers Market 2022 Locations & Information

South Loop Farmers Market, Grant Park (New Thursday Location!)

South Loop Farmers Market, Printers Row
Dates: Saturdays 9am-1pm, beginning May 28 through October 15, 2022 (no market Saturday 9/10)* (20) markets total
Location: 632 S Dearborn St, Printers Row Park
*an additional market may be added in collaboration with the Printers Row Lit Fest (as of now, no market will be scheduled or billed for 9/10, vendors will be notified and given the opportunity to opt into this market should SLFM host a market during this period)

Again, you DO NOT have to apply to all markets, but vendors that choose to take part in both markets will be strongly considered and vendors that take part in both outdoor markets will receive a discounted rate (one market free).

Our markets will serve our diverse and booming South Loop/Near South community. PDNA (the south loop’s leading community organization) will also be endorsing and supporting our independent markets.

SLFM will accept vendors selling a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers, baked goods, meats, prepared & ready-to-eat foods, and relevant non-food items (including vintage clothing and handmade goods). We prioritize vendor applicants who make their product or source their materials locally and/or ethically, including farmers who prioritize regenerative practices. SLFM chooses vendors based on product quality and generative business practices (environmentally & culturally).

The market will also include (COVID-19 compliant if applicable) children’s activities and programming (wellness, education, literary, and music).

Limited free parking (first come first serve) at both locations will be available for all vendors at their own risk.

Applications are due by Friday, April 15, 2022. This includes all supporting documents. Applications that are submitted after April 15, 2022 may be subject to an additional fee.

Electronic submission of this application and all supporting documents (via email to stephanie@southloopfarmersmarket.com) is required. Incomplete applications and applications without any accompanying requested documents (or without confirmed arrangements for said documents by SLFM management) will not be read or considered.

SLFM Accepts Checks, Chase Quick Pay, or Zelle payments only.
