The Community Internship Collaboration (CIC) is a workforce development program that provides UNM-LA undergraduates internship opportunities with small businesses in Los Alamos. Internships give students the opportunity to put knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to use in a practical way. In addition, business mentors provide meaningful work experiences to students while teaching, training, and coaching them.

Applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at UNM-LA for the Fall 2020 semester to apply for the Community Internship Collaboration (CIC) program. *
Required
All students who are accepted into the program must register for the mandatory CIC course, BSTC 299; attend classes on 9 specific Thursdays (see Class Scheduled); work up to 60 hours by December 11, 2020; and participate in a poster or recorded presentation open to the public. *
