Taunton Faculty Community Scholarship Application
In order to apply for a TFC Scholarship, you must meet ALL of the following criteria:

- be a senior in good academic standing
- be on track to graduate in June
- have attended Taunton High School for at least 3 semesters
- have been accepted to a post-secondary institution

Scholarships are competitive and based on a range of criteria, including academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, attendance, leadership, character, work experience, family background, intended major/field of study, and financial need. The personal statements are also important components of the application.

Information in this application must be accurate and complete.  Having a copy of your transcript will be necessary in order to complete this application.  If you do not have one, please see Mrs. Andrews in Guidance.  The Committee recognizes that sharing information about family circumstances and finances is sensitive and this information will be kept confidential.

At the end of this application, you will be asked to respond to the following questions (no more 250 words each):

 - Describe a course or experience at THS that inspired or challenged you.
 - How will the lessons learned from this experience influence your pursuit of future goals?
 - What do you think you could work on or improve in the future to be successful in a college or career setting?

We suggest you draft your responses BEFORE starting the application.

Students must submit a completed application by 3:00pm on Friday, APRIL 17, 2020. Late applications will not be considered.

Students will be notified in early May if they have been selected to receive a scholarship.  Recipients will be expected to attend the Senior Awards Night on Thursday, June 4 at 6:00pm.

Questions about the application process can be directed to Jenifer Andrews, College & Career Counselor, in the Guidance Office.
