2020 Superintendent's Principal Advisory Council Application
Hanseul Kang, Superintendent of the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), is seeking principals and other senior school-based leaders to participate in the Superintendent’s Principal Advisory Council (PAC). Members of the council will share their insights, suggestions, and feedback with OSSE to help refine current policies and inform the development of new policies and resources at the state level. OSSE seeks a diverse group of school leaders from across the city that reflect the demographics of the District’s students.  In the inaugural year of the PAC, the Council will focus on special education and literacy, in alignment with OSSE’s agency priorities.

APPLICATION TIMELINE: The application will open on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 and will close on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020.

MEETING SCHEDULE: The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, 9 a.m.--12 p.m., with three additional meetings to be held across the 2020 calendar year. Meetings will be held at OSSE during the day from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
