It may not be possible to offer the option you request, but we will do our best.

Since this retreat will be very rigorous, we advise that people be cautious about joining the retreat if they have not had experience with sadhanas, recitations and/or long meditation sessions. The schedule will be demanding. Daily sessions begin at 5 a.m. and end at 9 p.m. There will be four sessions every day, each lasting about two hours. In addition, there will be one hour of guiding instructions by Lama Tenzin Sangpo. Complete newcomers can attend as well as people who are not registered to the Tara Triple Excellence Programme, if they are committed to the practice. It is good to have received the outer Tara empowerment, but not essential.

Preference will be given to those attending the whole retreat. We will keep you informed of the number of places available, but can only confirm at the end of May if there are free places available for those attending the first 10 days only (from 2nd July to Guru Rinpoche Day on 11th July).

We will have three daily meals and an afternoon tea break. A professional cook will spoil us with simple, delicious vegetarian food. The diet will follow the Kriya tantra instructions, meaning meat, alcohol, eggs, garlic and onions will be avoided. If you have any kind of food allergy or some special needs, please inform us, so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Is there any medical information or background we should know about concerning your physical or mental health? Do you have any physical limitations, food or environmental allergies, are you taking any medication?

We expect this retreat to be busy and it is a unique event. To secure your place on the retreat we request you make a deposit of £300. If you cancel BEFORE 6th June we will give a full refund. If you cancel BEFORE 21st June we can refund 50%. Refunds after that date will be dependent on if we can fill your place. Please note your registration is not confirmed until this initial deposit is received.

Gomde Scotland is keeping the costs of the retreat as low as possible, because we want to make this affordable for all. The amount will be on a sliding scale depending on your means from £840 - £750.  This includes basic shared accomodation and all meals. There are very few single wooden cabins, so if you would like to guarantee a room of your own, please register and prepay the full amount as soon as possible, as it is first come first served. The cost for 21 days in a single cabin on the land will be £945 inclusive. There are no credit card facilities so you need to pay the full balance in advance by 21st June.
