Self-Care for the Overstretched Librarian
Feeling stressed? Struggling to maintain a work life balance? Us too.

This October, the Rhode Island Library Association’s Information Literacy Action Round Table is celebrating “October is Information Literacy Month” by celebrating our best resource for information literacy success: Ourselves.

Join us on October 22 to take a moment to breathe, reflect, and learn with colleagues and friends.

Noelle Harris, PhD, LMHC, RYT, Director of Counseling Services and Adjunct Faculty in the department of Applied Psychology at Bryant University, will guide us in meditation to promote contemplation, reflection, and mindfulness. The experiential meditation session will be followed by a short talk on Buddhist Psychology, Yoga philosophy, and mindfulness strategies to increase wellness. We will end by gathering for themed small group discussion to provide an opportunity for questions, connections, and discussion.
