Highway Cleanup

Community Service is central to the mission of Phi Theta Kappa. It's also a focus of Northcentral Technical College. Each fall our college hosts an in-service day where all campuses close so employees can participate in professional development and acts of services. This year, we're inviting students to join in for the service portion of the day:

PTK Highway Cleanup

(weather permitting)
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with pizza party to follow

We'll meet promptly at 9:30 a.m. at the NTC Agriculture Center of Excellence (aka farm) to distribute gloves, bright vests, and trash bags. We'll clean along our adopted stretch of Highway K, just north of the Wausau Campus. Around 11:30 a.m., we'll conclude cleaning and return to the farm for a pizza party for all participants.

Note the start time has changed from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. due to excellent registrations. We'll still plan to enjoy a pizza party beginning at 11:30 a.m.
