Call for Activity Proposals
This year, the Richmond Hill Public Library (RHPL) will again be transformed into a Culture Days hub. We are planning for in person programs at this time. We are currently calling on artists, musicians, performers, etc. as well as arts and cultural organizations who might be interested in participating in the Culture Days Hub through the Richmond Hill Central Library on October 15. Activities can range from play presentations/readings and artist talks, to demonstrations and workshops or any other creative idea.
If you think that you, or your organizations might be interested and available to participate, please provide the information below no later than September 9, 2022.
All submissions will be reviewed by RHPL and RH City staff, and final selections will be made based on fit within Culture Days criteria, RHPL programming priorities and capacity. We plan to contact organizations to confirm their participation by late August.
Please note, there is no compensation associated with Culture Days and any materials you require, will need to be provided by you and/or your organization. In addition to the space or virtual platform provided, the City of Richmond Hill and the Richmond Hill Public Library will partner to promote the event to the community through social media, e-blasts, and posters. It is expected that you and/or your organization will also promote your Culture Days activity at the RHPL to your audiences and contacts.
