Graduate Scholar Award
The Chemical Engineering Graduate Committee distributes awards each year to graduate student scholars who are presenting their work to professional or academic communities. Create a Google Scholar profile to be eligible for the award.

The $500 awards are to graduate student scholars who have published a journal article or archival conference publication in the past year and are requesting support for conference-related fees to present their work at the conference. Some conference publications are peer-reviewed with archival publications that have a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). These conferences also qualify for the higher award.

The $250 awards are to graduate student scholars who have an accepted conference publication for presentation. Presentations at conferences such as the AIChE Annual or Spring meeting qualify for this award.

The awards are distributed as reimbursement for conference related fees. Due date for the requests are the beginning of each quarter on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and Oct 1st.
