Client Registration
In July 2019, Costa Rica passed legislation adding a 13% Value Added Tax (IVA) on all goods and services, and requiring businesses to document all transactions with electronic receipts.  

Accordingly, we are required to collect client information to provide official electronic receipts, and even when clients do not require receipts, we are required to send them for tax collection and documentation purposes.  

All our listed prices include the 13% Value Added Tax.  Systems in place require us to send receipts within the first week of the following calendar month.  Please let us know if you need your receipt sooner.
