Public Bank Los Angeles is working to establish a socially and environmentally responsible municipal public bank for the City of Los Angeles, with the goal of developing the local economy and providing fair and equitable financial services for the city, businesses, and residents. The Los Angeles Public Bank will support the economic development of the region by:
Adhering to transparent, ethical, sustainable, and regenerative investment guidelines;
Strengthening existing financial institutions through partnerships with local community banks and credit unions;
Serving the needs of Los Angeles communities by ensuring meaningful participation
of underserved members.
