Members and regular attenders are invited to submit nominations for the following church leadership positions to be affirmed at the Annual Congregational Council in February 2022.

The positions we need to affirm year are:
>Congregational Representatives to the Church Board – One position to be affirmed - for a three-year term.
>BIC Annual Meeting Delegate - One position to be affirmed - for a one year term representing us at the Be In Christ Church of Canada AGM. (The board and deacons each select one other delegate.)
>Nominating Committee - Two positions to be affirmed - for one-year terms working toward nominations at our ACC in 2021.

Additionally, the board needs to fill two positions and welcomes your nominations:
>Board Secretary on the Church Board - One position to be affirmed - for a three-year term.
>Maintenance Representative on the Church board - One position to be affirmed - for a three year term

To nominate someone, please use the form below to submit the person’s name. There is no need to approach the person you are nominating. You do need to share your name as the nominating person.

All nominations will be passed along to the nominating committee for their consideration as they prepare a recommendation of nominees for the board.

While only active members of Covenant Church are eligible for election, both members and regular attenders can nominate.

Note re Church Board Composition:  
The Church Board includes Lead Pastor (non-voting), three Congregational representatives, one Deacon representative, one Maintenance Committee Chairperson, a Secretary, and a Treasurer. The Secretary, Treasurer and Maintenance Committee Chairperson are elected by the Church Board from the congregation-at-large and become members of the Church Board.
