The TAFP foundation funding request will stay open until all the funding slots are taken.  The TAFP Foundation will reimburse students up to $600. The $600 is intended to help reduce out-of-pocket expenses (registration, travel, lodging, meals) to attend National Conference.

Please note, Once the application is received, the TAFP Foundation will acknowledge participation by sending a confirmation email and an expense form. INITIAL FUNDING REQUEST DEADLINE IS July 1, 2022. Travel funding is for medical students enrolled in a Texas Medical School.  Each Texas medical school is allotted 3 funding slots up to $600 for each reimbursement.

After the deadline for initial funding approval, funds allocated to a specific school but not utilized will be placed in a pool and assigned to students (school affiliation will not determine assignment) based on the date the request is received.
