Notification of location to place your entry will be made by email on Thursday, September 19. Due to the number of scarecrows typically registered, location change requests CANNOT be accommodated. Thank you for your understanding!

All entries are to be assembled in their designated space, FACING TOWARD THE SIDEWALK. Set up can begin on Sunday, September 22 and needs to be in place by 5:30pm on Wednesday, September 25.
● Scarecrow Festival Headquarters will be in the Liftbridge Lane West event area. Community voting for the People's Choice awards will take place at Headquarters - we are returning to paper ballots this year. Winners are encouraged to be present - you will be texted if you are in the running for a prize. We will have children's activities at Liftbridge Lane West from 10am-2pm - more information to come.

All scarecrows must remain on display through October 7. Keep this in mind when selecting materials as your creation must be able to withstand the elements. Bike locks are recommended for securing your scarecrow. Please do not include political signage - all political signs will be removed. All scarecrows left up after October 8 will be removed. If you want to save your Scarecrow, you must remove it by October 8.
Prizes will be awarded for the following:
- Best interpretation/representation of our theme "National Good Neighbors Day" - awarded by team of judges - Cash prize $200
- People's Choice Awards - based on community voting - 1st Prize $100, 2nd Prize $50, 3rd Prize $25
- Best Fairport Perinton Merchant's Association member entry - awarded by team of judges - Free FPMA 2024-25 Membership
