[RSVP] Virtual April CSS Happy Hour - Special Edition on COVID-19 and Misinformation
For many computational social scientists, words like “network”, “contagion”, “cascade”, and “misinformation” meant something completely different a few months ago compared to now (in the light of COVID-19). There are so many things to talk about. Yet, there is so much noise out there. In this (first) edition of the virtual (NYC) Computational Social Science happy hour, we open RSVP for people all around to have a low-noise discussion of COVID-19, misinformation, networks, and how computational social science can help.

Featuring a small panel of leading researchers such as Kate Starbird, J. Nathan Matias, Mor Naaman, and a few more, we will have a semi-structured discussion followed by open explorations after.

Time: April 30, Thursday, 7pm ET/ 4pm PT

Zoom link will be provided for the first 50 RSVPs to keep things manageable the day before the happy hour.
