PQRC mentors work with students to develop their quantitative skills (usually in the context of a particular quantitative course).  Additionally, mentors will occasionally be involved in workshops, presentations, research, and community outreach.  The characteristics that we are looking for in our mentors include a strong quantitative background, good communication skills, patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to work well in a dynamic group situation. Mentors will be expected to work a minimum of 4 hours per week at the PQRC as well as attend bi-weekly staff meetings.
