Note:
While there is no cost for our nightlife services,
we have a stringent policy in place to ensure that our dedicated volunteers receive entry & basic accommodations in exchange for their valuable time & support. These provisions are provided by event organizers or those requesting our services.
Entry Passes: Ensuring that volunteers have access to the event without any additional cost is essential. This allows them to actively engage with attendees and provide support.
Early Entry: Granting volunteers early entry to the event allows them to set up and prepare for their harm reduction activities in advance, ensuring a smooth start.
Camping Passes: For multi-day events, offering camping passes can be a convenient accommodation, allowing volunteers to stay on-site and minimize travel.
Vehicle Passes: If volunteers need to transport supplies or equipment, providing vehicle passes or parking permits can facilitate their logistical needs.
Waived Vendor Fee: If volunteers are also vendors or service providers at the event, waiving their vendor fees acknowledges their dual roles and contributions.
Access to Power: Some harm reduction equipment may require power sources. Providing access to power outlets or generators.
Meal Plan: Providing a meal plan or vouchers for on-site food vendors ensures that volunteers have access to nourishing meals during their shifts.
Travel Stipend: Offering a stipend or reimbursement for travel expenses can make it more feasible for volunteers from distant locations to participate.
Communication Devices: Radios or walkie-talkies can facilitate communication among volunteers and organizers, helping them coordinate effectively.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensuring that volunteers have access to adequate PPE, such as masks, gloves, and sanitizer, is essential for their safety, especially during health crises like pandemics.
