Mindfulness and Self-Compassion for Students of Color
Leaders: Victoria Gonzalez, Ph.D.

The goal of this drop-in group is to help guide you to a place of acknowledging, accepting, and healing from difficult emotions and thought processes that contribute to your distress and suffering. You will learn specific strategies, and in-vivo practices to gain the ability to self-soothe and to promote well-being. This group is created for Black, Indigenous & People Of Color students who want to connect with other BIPOC students in a safe space, develop a shared sense of community, and foster emotional safety during such uncertain times. Particularly during these times of disconnection and isolation during COVID-19, we would like to welcome and encourage international students of color to join us as well.

Registration is not required - attendees can drop in. If you register, you will receive a reminder email before the first meeting.
