CWMLA Rebrand - Community Input
The Centre Wellington Minor Lacrosse Association is continuing its ongoing consultation with the public and its members to ensure it has the best fit with its new name.   The association is seeking a name that would be unique to it within lacrosse circles. The association is looking for further input for the following 3 names (only).

The 67’s
Our community is built on 2 major roadways, Highway 6 and County Road 7. This name 67’s pays homage to two arterial roads leading into our great community.

Riverhawks
Making its home along the mighty Grand River, the Osprey keeps watch over the community. This majestic bird-of-prey is native to the community of Centre Wellington and commonly known as a Riverhawk.
Wolves
Wolves are fiercely territorial and never seen far from their pack. The name Centre Wellington Wolves pre-dates amalgamation when the first minor field lacrosse team was brought to our community. The name is perpetuated with the national championship winning Centre Wellington Wolves senior men’s field lacrosse team.
