A. BLOGGING FOR SEO
You get different kinds of blogging. Personal blogging, company blogging, brand blogging, and so forth. Also, people blog for different reasons. Influencers want to influence, companies want to share news with their stakeholders, travel bloggers want to display their trips, and so forth. For small businesses, the main goals of blogging are to Establish Authority and Optimise Search Engine Rankings.

1. Establish Authority through providing helpful content

The goal here is to show potential customers that you are an authority in your field and that they can trust you and you brand. The more helpful articles you write the more people will be helped by your brand and therefore the more likely they will be to eventually purchase from you.

You can think of blog posts as relevant informational products that you give to potential customers for free. If people find value from consuming your free products they will likely move on to consuming some of your paid offerings.

Therefore it is important to write blog posts that are very relevant to your target audience, are easy to consume, and reveal your authority and your brand's unique attributes. In this way blogging can function as a strong brand building tool.

2. SEO through keyword linking

In order to be seen as an authority in a field it is helpful to show up on the first page of Google when people search for things related to your field.

Today, more than ever before people start with a Google search when they have an unfulfilled need. Therefore, if you want to be found by potential customers you need to show up on the first page of Google when people search for things related to your business.

Search engines like Google search for content that is most relevant to they keywords that people search for. The more relevant Google believes something to be, the more likely that page will show up on the first page of a search.

Therefore, every blog posts that you write needs to be optimised for specific keywords that people search for.

1. Keyword research
The first thing that you need to do is find keywords that are relevant to your target audience. All your blog posts will then be built around these keywords.

To do this you need to go to Google trends and research which keywords people generally search for:

2. Choose 3 keywords for 3 blog posts
Now you need to choose the most relevant three keywords around which to craft your first three blog posts.
Which three keywords are most relevant to your target audience at this point in time?
3. Blog post research
Before you can write your blog posts you need to do thorough research about each keyword.
3.1 - Keyword #1 Blog Post
Keyword #1 - What is your 1st keyword
Keyword #1 Explanation: Why has this keyword been chosen? Explain everything you can about this keyword and why it is relevant.
Keyword #1 Authority: Explain why the brand/ brand team has the authority to talk on this keyword. What unique experience or story can be shared in the blog post about their experience with this aspect of their field?
Keyword #1 Angle: What angle would you like to take when writing a blog post about this keyword?
Keyword #1 Images: What images can be used in the blog post about this keyword. Please list links to the images.
Keyword #1 Links: What other sites can you link to from your blog post about this keyword?
Keyword #1 Category: What blogging category do you think this post will fall under?
Keyword #1 General: Are there any other thoughts about this keyword and what could be included in the blog post about it?

3.2 - Keyword #2 Blog Post
