The class captain is the designated parent volunteer who coordinates all other parent volunteers for that class. The class captain often organizes classroom learning experiences, parties, and field trip needs. Volunteering to be your child’s class parent is a great way to contribute to the class while also getting to know other parents. These class captains will be coordinated by the Academy Family Association.
Some class captain responsibilities:
-helping with teacher appreciation day
-card party class baskets (money collection and possible shopping for items)
-helping with the AFA Trunk or Treat
-helping to chaperone a night of the annual Christmas Show
-assisting teacher with supply emails requests
-helping teacher with classroom celebration organization
