SOAR Summer Program Interest
This is not a registration for the summer program. SOAR gives priority to students identified by teachers as being most likely to benefit from the program. This survey is to indicate your interest. In late May we will let you know if we are able to invite you to register during our first round of registration. If you are not in the first round of registration, you will be placed on a waitlist.

SOAR's free summer program is a partnership between Shiloh Hills and The Boys & Girls Club, as part of a 21st Century Grant. It is for Shiloh students only. Incoming kindergarteners through incoming 5th graders are eligible. Out going 5th graders are not eligible.

The program begins on July 5th and will run for 6 weeks, until August 12th, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm, and will be here at Shiloh for the full day. Breakfast and lunch will be served and transportation will be offered to students who live outside the walking zone.

Consistent attendance and appropriate behavior is a requirement. All attending students must be able to commit to attending regularly with no extended absences.

Students will arrive at 9am, and after breakfast will have a morning of small group learning activities, delivered by certified teachers and paraprofessionals. In the afternoon, students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of engaging programs delivered by the Boys & Girls Club. We will be gardening, doing STEM activities, having water days and much more. Students will  have time to play and socialize with friends in a safe and structured setting. MOBIUS Children's Museum will be here to offer more hands on learning. Please reach out to me at justus.morlock@mead354.org if you have any questions!
