The Milverton Trust respect each individual’s right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our website www.milvertonstreetfair.org.uk or via email only in the ways covered in this statement.

If you apply for a stall at the annual Milverton Street fair, make a donation, volunteer, we will usually collect:

Your contact details
Payment type
Consent or otherwise to be contacted via email.

WE WILL MAINLY USE YOUR DATA TO:
Administer your application for a pitch at the annual Milverton Street Fair.
Keep a record of your relationship with us.
We may also collect and retain your information if you send feedback about our services or make a complaint.
The promotional and fundraising activities of charities are covered by the direct marketing rules. With your consent, we will contact you, via email only, to let you know about the progress we are making and to ask for donations or other support.  Occasionally, we may include information from people or organisations who support us.  
 
YOUR RIGHTS
We make it easy for you to tell us if you want us to communicate with you or not. Our “expression of interest form” has a clear communication preference question. If you don’t want to hear from us, that’s fine.  Just let us know when you provide your application data, or contact us at milvertonstreetfair@gmail.com.

We do not sell or share your personal details to third parties for the purposes of marketing.  But if we run an event in partnership with another named organisation your details may need to be shared. We will be very clear what will happen to your data when you register for the event.
We will only share your details where legally required, for example where a person reports abuse or a serious intention of harming someone else or in respect of the prevention or detection of crime.

The Data Protection Act 1998 ("Act") gives you the right to access information we hold about you.
SECURITY
Trustees and staff within The Milverton Trust will take all necessary steps to make sure that personal data is kept secure at all times against unauthorised or unlawful loss or disclosure. The Milverton Trust will retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for its original purpose. Any data no longer required will be deleted or disposed of confidentially and completely. Records deleted on live systems will also be deleted from system back-ups and archives, along with any hard copies.
 
THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE AND LINKS
We use third party software (Google forms) to collect your data and payments (GoCardless) and from time to time we may offer links to other web sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours and we do not accept responsibility or liability for their policies.

We may review our privacy policy at any time by updating this page. You are expected to check back from time to time to take notice of any changes we have made, as they are binding on you.
