Terms and Conditions of Booking with The Red Kite Kids Club
The information below is to outline the service provided and the basis upon which a place at The Red Kite Kids Club is offered and accepted.
Payment
Fees must be paid in advance of the session. If payment has not been made by the date on your invoice, your child will not be able to attend and your booking will be cancelled. The club reserves the right to withdraw the place if the fees are not paid before the start of the session.
We accept payment via bank transfer, the government’s tax free childcare scheme, employers childcare vouchers and the universal credit childcare scheme.
Advanced Bookings & Ad Hoc Bookings
We recommend booking your child’s sessions half-termly to secure their place. Subject to availability, Ad hoc bookings can be made up to 6pm the day before the required session.
Opening Hours
Our club is open weekdays from 3:30pm to 6:00pm. The Red Kite Kids Club is open during school term dates only. This does not include inset days or any other days when the school is closed.
Children can be collected at any time after 3:30pm. However, the price of the session will remain consistent regardless of the time of collection.
Lateness & Absence
Children must be collected promptly at the end of their booked session.
If you are delayed, please contact a member of staff as soon as possible on 07957 218093.
To help cover the cost of additional staffing and hall hire, a late collection fee of £1 per minute will be charged for each minute beyond the scheduled pick-up time.
Need a little more time? If you know before 2:00pm on the day of your child’s session that you'll need to extend their childcare, email us at redkitekidsclub@gmail.com (subject to availability).
Here are the extension options:
4:30pm to 5:30pm – £9.00 (will include a full snack)
4:30pm to 6:00pm – £12.00 (will include a full snack)
5:30pm to 6:00pm – £3.00
Please note that we are unable to offer extensions past 6:00pm. If you have any questions at all, feel free to get in touch with us at redkitekidsclub@gmail.com — we are always happy to help!
Absences: If your child will not be attending a booked session, please notify the club by email. redkitekidsclub@gmail.com so we can update our register accordingly. There is no refund for missed sessions.
Meals
A cold, light tea is included in the fees for sessions. Please note that this snack is not intended to replace their evening meal. The children will not need to bring in their own snack, unless it is for medical reasons.

Absences due to sickness or holidays
We regret that there is no reduction in fees for any absence for holidays or sickness. Parents accepting a place at the Red Kite Kids Club have agreed to this condition. Swapping sessions will not be allowed.
Cancellation or swapping of sessions
We are unable to swap, cancel, or refund sessions if you choose for your child not to attend a session or they are unwell.
Closure due to unforeseen circumstances
In the unlikely event that the club is closed on a day it had planned to be open, parents will be contacted via email and a full refund will be issued for the missed session(s).
Sickness and accidents
Children should not be brought to the club if they are unwell or suffering from a contagious illness. It is our policy that children should not return to the club for at least 48 hours after an outbreak of vomiting and/or diarrhoea. The club reserves the right to insist a child whom, in the opinion of the staff, presents a potential health risk to other children or staff be collected from the club.
Staff are First Aid trained and will deal with minor accidents. However if a child becomes unwell or has an accident requiring further treatment parents/carers will be contacted for the child to be collected. In the event of an emergency, staff will inform the parents/carers immediately and if necessary, a member of staff will call 999.
Behaviour
It is expected that all children attending the club treat each other and the club’s property with kindness and respect. In the unlikely event that a child, in the opinion of the club staff, is constantly behaving in an aggressive or unreasonable manner, the parents may be asked to seek alternative care.
Valuables
Parents are requested not to send their children with any valuables to the club. The club cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to valuables/ toys that have been brought in.
Change of details for your child
It is vital that we have full knowledge of any change of address and telephone numbers (mobile & landlines) both at work and home. We also need to know if there is any change to persons named on your child’s registration form as emergency contacts. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to keep us up to date.
Collection
If someone other than the main parent/guardian will be collecting your child(ren), please email redkitekidsclub@gmail.com to provide details of the individual who will be collecting. Alternatively, if it is during club opening hours, please call 07957218093.
Please note that children must be signed out by their parent/carer when collected. Please collect from the exit near Silver Birch Classroom. Children can be collected any time before the end of their booked session. If there is no answer at the school gate, please call the club on 07957218093.
