We collect volunteer hours to maintain our federal tax exemption status, report activity with our partner, the National Park Service, and to use as matching contributions amounts for grant opportunities. Any kind of volunteer participation counts: attending meetings, attending work days, maintaining a communal area, working on one of the committees, helping with garbage and dumpster pick up days, cleaning the garden house, etc.
