Crumlin GAA 5050 Cycle 2020
Crumlin GAA are running a cycling event on the weekend of October 10th & 11th. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are not in a position to hold the traditional Jim Boggan cycle.

What is planned is a cycle revolving around the celebration of the clubs 50th Anniversary. With a number of options available depending on your availability and fitness levels.

1. A 50 km cycle starting and finishing in the club at your preferred time over the weekend. (Beginner and Intermediate route will be suggested)
2. A 50 mile cycle starting and finishing in the club at your preferred time over the weekend. (Beginner and Intermediate route will be suggested)
3. A 50 minute static cycle on rollers in the club car park on Saturday October 10th @ either 12:00 or 16:00.
4. A 50 minute static cycle on rollers in the club car park on Sunday October 11th for Juveniles. Time slots will be available from 12:00 - 18:00.

All of the possible options are very much recreational and they are not races! We hope to just get members active and enjoying themselves in a safe manner.

We would like to make sure that your cycle finishes in the club and with a small cohort of people to welcome you back so we would suggest aiming to finish between 12:00 - 18:00, so you are welcomed back, yet government guidelines are all adhered to.

The cost of entering for a person is €50, which will include a specially commissioned Crumlin Medal. There will be two opportunities to pay your entry fee on Tuesday September 15th and Wednesday September 23rd in O'Toole Park. Juveniles can enter by collecting money on a sponsorship card, minimum requirement of €10 for a juvenile to enter.
