Pre-Camp Meeting with all interns and adult staff - Sunday (day before camp): 6:00-7:00pm
Monday: 8:00am-3:30pm
Tuesday: 8:30am-3:30pm
Wednesday: 8:30am-3:30pm
Thursday: 8:30am-3:30pm
Friday: 8:30am-9:30pm (or until all all areas are clean and stage/tech is struck after performance)

*I understand that I will be paid the base rate for the camp I am accepted to intern at. I also understand that if I'm accepted for a specific role I may be earning some extra pay on top of the base pay.

I understand

The roles I would like to apply for are (check as many as you would like to be considered for):

Choreographer (+$100) (1-2 interns per week): Work with the music director to create dance and movement for the final production. Choreography should be completed in advance of the start of camp, but may need to be modified based on camper ability. Choreographers should work together and prepare videos to share with performers before the start of camp. Will also be responsible for ‘Intern at Large’ roles when not actively in this role.

Acting Coach (+$75) (1-2 interns per week): Work with campers to rehearse, improve on, and perform scenes, monologues and/or duets. Acting coaches should familiarize themselves with the scripts in advance of the start of camp, but may need to modify their approach based on camper ability and age. Will also be responsible for ‘Intern at Large’ roles when not actively in this role.

Tech Lead (+$50) (2 interns per week): Work with the music director and camp manager to create sound, light and set design for camp productions and educate campers on microphone use (if needed). The Tech Leads will direct the construction of the set for the Friday night show throughout the week and oversee breakdown at the end of the production. Will also be responsible for ‘Intern at Large’ roles when not actively in this role.

Camp Logistics Lead (+$25) (1 intern per week): Work with the camp manager and music director to create a day-to-day schedule and aim to keep camp running on time. The Logistic Lead will sign campers in, collect lunches and cell phones, manage snack distribution, return items to campers and confirm each child has been signed out at the end of the day. Will also be responsible for ‘Intern at Large’ roles when not actively in this role.

Camp House Lead (+$25) (1 intern per week): Work with the camp manager and music director to create a program for the camp production. The House Lead will manage the chair set up before the house opens on Friday and break down after the show. Lastly, the House Lead will greet audience members alongside the intern team. Will also be responsible for ‘Intern at Large’ roles when not actively in this role.

General Intern At Large (base pay) (unknown # - depends on week): Work with camp manager, music director, and fellow interns to create a positive, safe, and smooth experience for families and campers. General Interns should arrive on time each day, assist with bios, photographically document the week, keep our theater clean, dance/sing/rehearse with campers, assist with set build and break down, house set up and break down, greet audience members, and enjoy lunch with campers daily. In addition, General Interns At Large should come prepared to present or co-present at least one large group “theatre game” and be available for at least one pre-camp meeting.
