They may be transferrable on a case-by-case basis and only after a consultation with the therapist.  Payments for all intake, evaluation, maintenance and crisis sessions must be made 48 hours in advance to keep the scheduled appointment. Requests for additional evaluations, letters of support, summary of services, other clinical paperwork, etc. will incur a $75/hour fee.
Can I pick and choose what parts of treatment my child participates in?
Clients are expected to participate in all aspects of the designated treatment program, which may include group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy and mindfulness groups. Mindfulness groups are important as they teach self-regulation skills, allow for social skills building and reinforce wellness tenets referenced within therapy sessions. Referrals for education support, behavior management consultations, family yoga, etc. may be made, in order to help the client meet the treatment goals. If a parent feels strongly about not participating in a specific part of treatment a conversation with the therapist can take place to determine if it aligns with the clinical needs of the client.
What if my child has to miss a group therapy session?
A makeup group play therapy session will be offered at least once per quarter and is subject to therapist availability and client registration.
