Have you ever wondered how honey goes from the hive to the jar? Join us on Wed April 5, 2023 at 12 pm in the Gleeson Library Atrium for the Backyard Beekeeper's Honey Extraction event. This event features honey frames from our hives on campus. You will learn how to uncap a frame, spin out the honey, filter it, and collect it in a jar. Please note that bees are not required for this process, so this will be a bee-free event. This event is open to the USF community: Staff, faculty, and students and is part of GoUSF's April Environmental Justice programming
