Vision:
The SEJC envisions equity and justice for every community member, regardless inclusive of their all identities, backgrounds, or circumstances.

Mission:
The Shasta Equal Justice coalition is a network of organizations and individuals committed to working for fair and equal justice within the criminal justice system in our communities through advocacy, education, and strengthening partnerships.

Below are some of the agreements we hope that active members will embrace, including a new request for a membership fee. For each of the following, please check the box if you agree with the statement. *

I am committed to working with other members and community leaders to build the conditions for greater trust between community members and representatives of the criminal justice system.

I can commit to supporting decisions made by the majority of SEJC members even if I have a different idea about the way forward.

I can commit to contributing to and abiding by discussion agreements set forth in general membership meetings.

I will work to attend SEJC general membership meetings.

I will participate in a working group and/or its activities.

I can support the work of the SEJC as a network as a collaborator in efforts to create opportunities for fair and equal justice.

I agree to support the work of the SEJC through a gift/membership fee of $20, applying for a sponsorship, or equivalent in kind services.

My organization will support the SEJC and our collective voice through a donation of $100.
