Merrill Memorial Library is funded by Yarmouth taxpayers. Yarmouth residents, property owners, and employees of the town of Yarmouth and employees of a business in Yarmouth are eligible for free library cards with proof of residence/ownership/employment. With your card you can:
*Check out items from our library's collection and interlibrary loan items through the Minerva and MaineCat systems.
*Use the CloudLibrary app to borrow ebooks and audiobooks, up to three per card; these are supplemental to the audiobooks in the MML library collection and circulate for three weeks.
*Accept the responsibility of borrowing and returning items from our collection and those of the interlibrary loan system. If an item or items is/are lost by you or a member of your household, you agree to pay replacement costs for that/those item(s).

Upon receiving this form, MML will issue you a card and mail it out to you. Once you have received your card, you may visit our catalog at https://yarmouthlibrary.org/ and begin placing items on hold and you may download the CloudLibrary app onto any smart device and input your 14-digit card number and begin borrowing items. When you come to the library to pick up your books for the first time, please bring proof of residency with you (license, piece of mail).
