Anyone wishing to come and take photos at the NCHTA event are asked to read the conditions of accreditation.
Media Guidelines
By
accepting media accreditation for this event you agree to the following:
1.
You will not portray the sport, its participants or
the organising committee in a negative way in any media, social media or public
forum, nor attempt to discredit the sport.
2.
In the case of injury to a horse or rider, you will
act respectfully and responsibly towards those involved and refrain from
photographing or recording them or posting about the incident.
3.
In the case of a crisis you will refer all media
inquiries to the event director, Kate MacKenzie on 0403200341
4.
Lanyards must always be worn whilst on the event
grounds for easy identification.
5.
Safety is our primary concern. Please make it your
priority.
6.
Photographers and media personnel must follow all
competition officials’ directions, including jump judges (located at each
cross-country jump), the Technical Delegate, the cross-country course designer
or any other identified event official. If you do not comply you may be removed
from the event and your accreditation cancelled.
7.
Media may move inside the field of play at no further
than arm’s distance from the tape or barrier and must always be aware of
horses.
8.
Will not crouch behind XC jumps. Remain in full view
of competitors at all times.
9.
Will be clear of the paths of horses at all times.

11. Photographers
are also expected to have a Working with Children Certificate and Public
Liability Insurance.
