2D Motion Capturing with PoseCap - User Survey
Welcome to the "2D Motion Capturing with PoseCap" user survey. In this survey, we ask you to take a look on our motion capturing software PoseCap, perform a task with it and answer a few questions regarding its usability and applicability.

PoseCap is a motion capturing tool for creating 2D animations using only a standard webcam. It is designed to be used together with the Spine animation software (https://esotericsoftware.com). PoseCap is available as a installation-free web application and a dedicated Windows desktop version.

PoseCap is developed as a part of our diploma thesis and is intended to be used for drafts, prototypes and game jams. The accuracy of the captured animation may be lower than that of professional motion capturing software. The quality of captured animations is not a direct topic of this survey.

Please note:
A graphics card may be needed for an adequate performance.
When capturing, please make sure your whole body is visible.

Please complete following tasks:
1) Open https://kruemelkatze.dev/posecap/survey
You can use the browser version or - if you have the Spine software installed - download and open the desktop version for Windows.
2) Use the PoseCap application to capture a short animation of you waving and cheering.
Please make sure that your whole body is visible.
3) Create the animation and download it.
3) If you have Spine installed, import the animation into Spine and try it out.
