2nd Year GSC Orientation Beach Trip
While we all love staying inside and doing research, the Boston area also has great beaches to relax and soak in the sun (when it's not snowing)! Come join us for a trip to Revere Beach and see the kinds of fun outdoor things the Boston area has to offer.

When: Sunday September 12th, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Where: Building 50 Walker Memorial for check-in (the side NOT facing the river). We will then make our way to Revere on the subway.

Getting to the Revere Beach:
We will use the Kendall/MIT station Red Line (Ashmont/Braintree) to go to Downtown Crossing station. There, we will transfer to the Orange Line (Oak Grove) and take it one stop to State station. At State we will finally transfer to the Blue Line (Wonderland) and take it to Revere Beach station, where we will exit the subway onto Beach St. From there we will walk east to the beach and set up. Volunteers will be leading groups from campus to the beach, but in case you get lost you can use these instructions as a reference.

What to Bring:
Bring your subway fare loaded student ID, a mask (for the subway), and any items you want to bring to the beach: beach towels, sunscreen, water bottle, volleyballs, frisbees, etc. The weather looks great, so we're there to relax and hang out/have fun, so bring whatever you'd enjoy!
