High school students have the opportunity to take Honors or AP level courses.  It is always in the best interest of the high school to place the student in the appropriate course level so that they can be successful.  The high school recommends that a student has a 90 average or higher in the previous course to determine successful placement.  This is only a recommendation, however, if a student's grade is lower than a 90, the high school has a waiver system in place to document a student's request to take an Honors/AP level course without meeting the previous grade average.  Please take the time to fill out this form if you do not meet the recommended grade for Honors/AP level courses.
