NDSC Star Skate Registration (Pre-Star to Star 2)
Please note that registration is limited to returning NDSC members until Wednesday, August 26th at 11:59pm.  

2020/2021 Session Options:
Mondays (6:30pm - 7:20pm) $550
- 23 weeks (September 14th, 2020 - March 22nd, 2021)
- no skating on Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, Family Day, March Break
- group lesson included in price
- semi-private and private lessons may also be arranged with your coach
- semi-private and private lessons are an additional cost and payment is made directly to your coach

Wednesdays (5:00pm - 5:50pm) $425
- 26 weeks (September 9th, 2020 - March 24th, 2021)
- no skating during Christmas or March Break
- semi-private and private lessons only (no group lesson)
- semi-private and private lessons are an additonal cost and are arranged with, and payment is made directly to, your coach

Fridays (4:30pm - 5:20pm) $300
- 18 weeks (September 11th, 2020 - March 5, 2021)
- no skating September 25th, October 30th, November 20th, December 18th, Christmas Break, January 29th, February 26th, March 12th
- semi-private and private lessons only (no group lesson)
- semi-private and private lessons are an additonal cost and are arranged with, and payment is made directly to, your coach

In addition to applicable session fees, all skaters must be registered with Skate Canada prior to taking to the ice.  The annual membership fee is $45.  This fee is non-refundable.  Skate Canada Membership and Insurance is valid from September 1st to August 31st.

Please select the session(s) your skater is interested in.  Please remember that a group lesson is included on Mondays only.  Both Wednesday and Friday skates will require you to arrange for semi-private or private lessons (these may also be added on Mondays as well).  These are an additional cost and may be arranged with our coaches, Jill Woodall (jillybackhome@gmail.com) and Janice Beer (janicebeer@xplornet.ca).

Bingo Fundraising Commitment
NDSC is a charitable partner of the Lions Bingo Hall in Belleville.  Our club provides volunteers for two Bingos per month (one Saturday and one Tuesday evening).  In return, our club earns a monthly return on the Bingo Hall sales.  That money goes directly to mitigate the ice costs for our Star Skate program.  Quite simply, our Star Skate program runs a deficit every year and would not survive without this partnership.  Consequently, we require all Star Skate families to volunteer for two Bingo dates per skater, per season.  Families may choose, and are encouraged to work additional Bingo dates throughout the season.  Each additional Bingo worked beyond the two required dates will result in a $50 skating credit with NDSC.  Families who are unable to meet the Bingo Fundraising Commitment, may opt to pay $100 instead.  To ensure that we receive the commitment from all skaters, we will collect a $100 cheque post-dated for April 1st, 2021.  This cheque will be destroyed following your two mandatory Bingos.  Should you wish to opt-out right away, please indicate below and add the $100 to your registration fee.
