New City Arts Internship Application '20-'21
New City Arts Initiative is a non-profit Charlottesville organization that supports local artists by facilitating community arts participation. We are committed to cultivating new audiences for the arts, specifically among local churches. We value our common humanity and the good of our city, embracing a diverse community of faith and vocation and advancing the arts in dynamic partnership with other local organizations and institutions. Some of our programs include Welcome Gallery, New City Artist Exchange, Charlottesville SOUP, The Maker’s Series, and Housing2Home.

New City Arts is seeking interns for the 2020-2021 Academic Year to join our team. Intern responsibilities include gallery-sitting and arts event support during the academic year. Interns join staff in gallery-sitting one weekday afternoon between the hours of 12PM and 4PM, in addition to supporting New City Arts events as needed, including the First Friday of each month (beginning in September, excluding January, and ending in May). Some evening and weekend availability is required on an event by event basis. Applications are due by 11:59PM on May 15. We ask that applicants fill out this Google form and send a one page resume to lindsey@newcityarts.org.
