TLOC Policy Agreement - New Students

(1) Monthly Tuition:    - 60 minutes is $80    - 75 minutes is $90    - 90 minutes is $100    A $15 late fee will be charged if the tuition is not paid before the 11th day of the month. *
(2) Tuition can be paid by cash, Zelle, or check. Zelle payments can be made to emily@theloveofchina.com. The student’s name must be written on the check or Zelle memo. *
(3) To qualify to perform in our school’s recital, TLOC students need to participate in at least one public performance. *
(4) If a student will miss class, their parent or guardian must let Mrs. Emily know in advance. *
(5) In the case of a student’s withdrawal from the dance program, a notice must be given to Mrs. Emily at least three weeks in advance. If not, you will still need to pay the month’s tuition. *
(6) Student’s hair must be tied neatly before coming to class. The dress code is pink ballet shoes, ballet pink tights, and black leotard with no skirt. *
(7) In order to participate in class, the student will be responsible to buy or rent the prop(s) required by the dances. In order to participate in performances, the student will be responsible to buy or rent the costume(s) required by the dances. *
(8) As in public school policy, if your child gets sick, please keep her at home and we look forward to seeing her when she gets well. *
(9) Please pick up your child from the studio within five minutes of the time her class finishes. After her class finishes, TLOC doesn’t have any responsibility for your child. After five minutes if you have not picked up your child, starting with the sixth minute, TLOC will charge you one dollar per minute late fee. *
(10) School uniform leotards for children and adults can be ordered from our Dancewear Shop. On the main page of www.theloveofchina.com, select “Dancewear Shop” from the main menu. *
(11) Annual registration fee for new students is $50 for the first student of a family and $25 for each additional member of the family. Registration fees need to be included with the tuition for the first month (August) and the last month (May). PLEASE NOTE: The registration fee is non-refundable. *
(12) The school year is August through May, 10 months. If you skip August classes and return in September instead, the August tuition still applies. I agree to follow the Studio Rules and to make payments as described above. I understand and agree to abide by the Cancellation Policy. *
(13) TLOC has my permission to use photographs/videos of my student for uses including, but not limited to: publicity, marketing, web content, etc. I understand that no compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.
